Industry Veteran John Coleman Joins Epic Realty Partners to Head Brokerage Team

(Rosemont, I L) – Epic Realty Partners/TCN Worldwide is pleased to announce that John Coleman has joined the firm as Senior Vice President, Director of Sales and Business Development.

In his new role, John will lead Epic Realty Partners’ 25-person brokerage team, expanding the firm’s practice across a wide array of property types within the metropolitan Chicago market. Leveraging Epic’s successful full-service platform, he will also be responsible for business development efforts in representing the real estate needs of property owners and tenants.

John joins Epic after 17 years of serving first as Marketing Director and for the past 10 years as Senior Vice President, Portfolio Real Estate at The Alter Group. In that capacity, John led the firm’s suburban office and industrial listing brokerage and tenant representation practice, completing nearly 800 lease and sale/purchase transactions on behalf of tenant clients and landlords such as LaSalle Investment Management, Wells REIT and UBS. He also directed the development of selected west suburban office properties, land site acquisitions and dispositions, and leasing of medical office projects and retail centers.

John is an active member of NAIOP Chicago and a regular contributor to various real estate publications and industry events including RealShare. John has been actively involved in Chicago real estate since 1986 as a public relations executive and then co-founder of Colex, the market’s first-ever online interactive vacancy database. John attended Northern Illinois University where he majored in Journalism.
